Privacy Policy
We're a small team. We try to collect as little data as possible. We don't sell or share personal information with advertisers. This is an early-access product — we'll update this page as Numonic grows.
What we collect
When you use the DNS checker
You enter a domain. We look up its public DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX) and return the results. We don't store the domains you check or the results we return.
When you contact us
If you email us via a Get Numonic or Contact link, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use that to respond and to plan the early-access rollout. We don't add you to any list without your explicit permission.
When you visit the site
Our hosting provider, Vercel, logs standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, requested URL) to serve the site and protect it from abuse. We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic — page views, referrers, and general location and device type. It's cookieless, doesn't track you across other sites, and doesn't build an advertising profile of you. We don't run third-party advertising or tracking pixels.
Fonts
We load Inter and JetBrains Mono from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when those font files are fetched. We may switch to self-hosted fonts in the future to remove this dependency.
Video
Posts with a walkthrough embed the video from YouTube using youtube-nocookie.com, so YouTube receives your IP address when you open one of those pages. It doesn't set cookies unless you press play.
How we use it
- To respond to inquiries you send us.
- To operate the website and the DNS checker.
- To detect and prevent abuse.
Cookies
We don't set any first-party cookies. Vercel may set cookies for security and abuse prevention.
Sharing
We don't sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share data only with the service providers strictly necessary to operate the site — currently Vercel (hosting) and Google (fonts, and YouTube on posts with a video).
Your rights
You can email bhavelka@numonic.com to request access to or deletion of any personal information we hold about you (currently limited to email correspondence).
Children
Numonic is a business tool and isn't intended for users under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be called out in a banner on the site.
